Profile to right, extremely stylised, with elaborate hair characterised by horizontal rolls represented by parallel vertical locks, terminated by curved patterns. Cross as crest. Around the effigy, beaded cords ended by small human heads.
The head before the profile is very large. The neck is suggested by a triangle. The chin is extended with an X design.
Androcephalic horse to left; above, charioteer simply represented with a human head turned upwards, with coiled hair, where the body is figured as a long curve starting from the head, passing over the horse's head and ending with a cross/T before its chest. Underneath, a motif associated to a ‘tent’, composed of several horizontal and parallel scrolled lines, in a pelleted frame surmounted by an upside-down V with curved lines.
A fine specimen of stater with "tent design", with very well figured designs on the reverse, unfortunately the obverse has not been well struck on the flan.

As in numismatics it is important that the state of conservation of an item be carefully evaluated before it is offered to a discerning collector with a keen eye.
This initially obscure acronym comprising two words describing the state of conservation is explained clearly here:
Extremely Fine
This means – more prosaically – that the coin has circulated well from hand to hand and pocket to pocket but the impact on its wear remains limited: the coins retains much of its mint luster, sharp detailing and little sign of being circulated. Closer examination with the naked eye reveals minor scratches or nicks.
