There is much more concretion around the observe captions than on the reverse. The wear has not been uniform between the two sides, the portrait seems to be slightly affected, while the reverse is much more worn, with a cleaned aspect and with hairlines. The portrait has been severely affected by filing at the crown and lower neck (the most prominent surfaces), with a mark on the edge at 1h. The right half of the edge appears to have been compressed and pushed inward. It is therefore possible that the coin adorned a tableware object and was subsequently removed at an unknown date.

TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS

PONTIF MAXIM

7.69 gr

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0637/1655/7029/files/868821A_80d601ee-f967-4593-ac56-db2e1eed63fd.jpg?v=1738931980
https://www.numiscorner.com/products/868821-coin-ancient-rome-roman-empire-27-bc-ad-476-tiberius-aureus-22-27
