This was the temple whose doors were only closed when Rome was 'at peace', which was almost never. Nero's sesterces are the only representations we have of this temple. Here we have a variety with the legend ‘CLAVDIVS’, but corresponding to RIC type I² Nero 266, noting the legend ‘CLAVD’.
