Nevertheless, the portrait of Didius Julianus and its most important details are still visible.\nDidius Julianus was a temporary emperor who reigned after the assassination of Pertinax. His power was challenged by other generals who were acclaimed emperors in their turn: Clodius Albinus, Pescennius Niger and Septimius Severus, future emperor and founder of the Severan dynasty.
